HEYO ALL!!!


Today we met and to work on our functions. though it was individual work, we met up so that in case we have encounter any problems we are able to clarify it immediately with each other! We met at around 1pm. Had lunch first before starting on our work. Most importantly, we got most of our work done!! (: woohoo!! haha. Alrighty then! we'll let you have a sneak peek at our work. but just the master page! the rest are TOP SECRET! WAHAHAHAHA!




so we will be placing our function stuff in the black box! (:

YAY!!!

WE DID OUR SQL TODAY!!! so super duper cool can. haha. we spent quite a lot of time on it though. haha. had to figure out what was needed and what was redundant. didnt really know how to do the relationship at first. but after playing around for awhile we all managed to get the hang of it and even drew out the database diagrams can. haha. how pro are we man! haha. so today was rather productive!

we're planning to meet up again next wed. so as to get more things done before school reopen.

Heyo!

It has been so long since someone last posted on this "dead" blog! haha. alright! just to keep all of you updated, im back to posting! yup!

First and foremost, the team has not meet up for the holiday yet! :D everyone has tight schedule and yes, we made a date for 5 of us on Friday (19 June)! Yup yup! We are going to discuss on our database/sql (: After our database is confirmed, we can start on our actual project already! Yiipee!~ :D

Yup, and by the way, i've made masterpage for the team already (: Okay, 2 reasons for creating masterpage.
1st, its because during our UI presentation, we do many linking from page to page, and i realise it's very hard for the person who integrate the project to ensure that all buttons, hyperlinks are LINKED to the same page. therefore, creating masterpage would be easier as the buttons on the masterpage are the same, and IF we happen to change anyting on the masterpage, everything will change. this will allow us to save time, and to keep things easier :)
2ndly, having a masterpage allows our page to load faster :D

Alright guys, so see you guys on Friday. Few things i'd like you guys to do before we meet. this is to keep things going and to be more efficient :D

1. PLEASE try to see if your laptop can create sql anot. if cant, please inform me(june) earlier, so we can make arrangement to the helpdesk and solve the problem asap.

2. PLEASE try to attempt the practical 5 and 6 on CMS under E-commerce Project. Pract 5 and 6 shows you how to do product catalog and shopping cart. okay. i ask all of you to attempt because IF u did pract 5 and 6, when team members got any problem, you MAY know how to solve. 2ndly, u'll know how to link things from database etc. like for example, promotion function, u'll know how to display promotions descriptions and pictures from the database. therefore this is really important :(

Thanks a million. i know its really bad to make you guys work during the holiday. but we have a deadline to meet. soooooo guys~ we have to work harder!!!! =)) alright! seeya soon :DD

FYI: Mdm Loh will mark us based on our individual functions. 30% of your functions must be working. yup! soooooo! work hard! :D

Good Job on Layout Presentation!
Hello!

We had our layout presentation today! :) Comments by Mdm Loh are as follow...

i) Background color - Make the background color brighter. Our background color camouflage with our logo. :X (Decided to outline our logo). Color code shall remain the same as we all likes the color of the background :X

ii) Navigations - Must have buttons to link from page to page. In formal presentation, you are NOT supposed to use the back and forward arrow at the top of the browser.

iii) Promotions - Make it more attractive. Use attractive words instead of "Events", "Promotions". Use "National Day Promotions", "Special Offers" etc..

iv) Summary - Must have summary of the goods the customers buy. We did not show our summary we did in front of the class. (Forgets to) But Mdm Loh took a look of it already. So it should be alright.
Billing and Delivery Infomation - did NOT show Mdm Loh too :X

v) Payment - Must have expiry date. (Card No. and Card Verification No. GOOD JOB). :)

vi) Backends - Administration, Company Info, Contact Us, FAQ, Feedbacks, Members, Orders, Products, Promotions.

Administration:
Not so important. But good to have it also.

Company Info:
Gridview (Must have short desc to explain the different infomation. Instead of putting "ID". "ID" itself cannot differentiate well enough.

Contact Us:

Members List:
Lack of Contact No.

Products:
Product Catagory must come FIRST. Let the admin choose product category before they create the product.

Finally,we met up after school to do our layout of project.Thank you Miss Loh for cancelling the lecture today; we have more time to do our project. Our layout of project is almost done.

Fortunately, Arnold is starting doing his part of project.We all heaved a sigh of relief. Hope our project can clinch an A....

YAY! today we handed in our report!! *phew* finally finished it. don't have many pages as compared to the rest though. but i think we're doing JUST fine! (: stayed up as a team and completed it the previous night. thanks to skype! :D haha.

oh yea! and we started on our layout today! no screenshots yet. but sooooon! all right! that's all for now!

Good Job on Presentation! Proposal's up next!
Hey guys,

We had our first presentation today. You guys did a wonderful job! :D Thanks all :)

Room for improvement:
Key Competitors (To promote more on Apples - How to convince customers to buy Apple products instead of Creative or Sony)
Products Benefits (Palm size iPod. Other brands like Creative and Sony has palm size mp3 too!)

Next, we'll be starting on our proposal. Please make yourself free these few days. Deadline for proposal will be next Wed, May 20.

Please be reminded that proposal has to be done BY Tuesday, May 19, 3pm. This is to ensure that we have everything done properly and to allow minimum mistakes on our proposal.

Our last meeting before 1st presentation
Hi,

Team aiZAI is almost finishing our powerpoint slide for our first presentation! We are touching up on the last bit of it. The team had a meeting at 9am-1230pm today.

Our 2nd meeting!
Team aiZAI had our 2nd meeting during project tutorial. The group had finally decided on the tasks allocation and we drew mindmaps and graph to show how our e-commerce site will work. Mdm Loh had already looked through it and we discussed it on many aspects. From tasks to functions, and so on... =)

We have also started on the 'skeleton' of our ppt for next week presentation. Most of our points are in there and now we are focusing on them one by one to make sure the contents are elaborated in full form. We will be meeting probably over the weekends to complete our work. =)

To aiZAI, must jiayou okay! :D Make sure everything is done on time and not at the very last minute. Let's move forward everyweek. P.S, anyone slacking off will be blacklisted here. And Mdm Loh will see it. *hohoho*!

1st Offical Meeting
Hello =)

We had our second tutorial lesson for E-comm project today. =)

Things we have discussed today:
1) Ideas of what to sell on our
webpage,
2)Tasks List (Who to do what for the project).

Ideas: We have came out with a mindmap on the many ideas we had thought of, and we had finallized our idea with Mdm Loh! We have decided to sell apple products on our webpage. The target audience will be teenagers and young adults! =)

Tasks List: The group has decided on who to do what for the project. We have a total of 11 functions. Everyone of us is allocated to a maximum of 2 functions per person. We have some functions that we are going to do as a GROUP! :DD


To aiZAI, from the previous project, we realise we dont have much time to slack. Let's not do last minute work okay? We must make our project a successful one! Gambateh!!!!

Hello all =)!

School has just started for few days & we were encouraged by Mdm Loh to create this blog to keep track on our progress for our project! And Team aiZAI has came out with a blog, and this is it... our "beautiful" blog!! Hahha :/

I seriously thinks that this blog will become our 5-people blog instead of a "tracking blog"! :O This is because as you click onto the "photo", "film", "controller" on the page itself, it'll locate you to the "entertainment" page! Lolx. And tune in for the latest videos and pictures of us! Hahaha. However, it's empty now because we have yet to put it up! :X!

We have not started anything on the project yet! Hahah. However we have came up with several ideas like what do we sell on the web, and so on... :)
